Hello everyone!!

I have been thinking about my 2nd group project and I think we have come up with the idea to create a car showcase. We talked at the rent party about it for about a half an hour but unfortunately I was kicked off of second life but I did search on second life for ideas. I found cars, bicycles, and even a train car to illustrate the type of transportation that they had back in the 1920's.

You can see one of the photos of the cars, I added it to my favorites on sl exchange and saved a picture of it.

As for my individual project, I don't have a great idea of what to do yet, I have been thinking about a lot of different ideas but I haven't decided on a specific topic.

I will update soon after I have decided on a topic!

Let Me Introduce my Second Self

My avatar has brown hair, a fair skin tone, a blue shirt with a white undershirt, jean capris, and white tenis shoes.
I have modified my avatar by comparing myself to the different choices of appearance in Second Life. My initial reaction was probably that I was a little confused at how she looked, it seems that no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get her to look exactly like me.
I don't change my appearance unless I am bored or I feel the need, because otherwise, I would be changing her appearance all the time. That would be time consuming and pointless. I really wanted my avatar to resemble me so that is why I changed her appearance, I will only change her appearance if I change my appearance.
I didn't spend any money changing my avatars appearance, it was all free. I showed my roomate my avatar and she joked that it looked nothing like me, so I'm not sure if I have achieved my goal in trying to make her look exactly like me.
I haven't really experimented with the sounds and gestures. I have made her dance a couple of tiems, and I am excited to get to use them in the future!

Hello everyone!

My name is Alli Brinkman. I'm from Lee's Summit, Missouri. Here at UCM I am majoring in nursing and minoring in Espanol. I love to hang out with my sorority sisters; I am in Alpha Omicron Pi. My writing experience is limited to advanced composition, so please excuse the bad grammar and mis-spelled words. My interests include: AOII, my family, singing, playing intramurals, watching the food network channel, and playing my nintendo wii. I love the movie Saving Silverman with Jack Black, Jason Biggs, and Steve Zahn. I also love my cats (Kiki and Tylor) and my dog (Lou) I miss them tons! Oh, I also love Captain Crunch and Mint Chocolate Chip Icecream.

I can't wait to get to know everyone! :)
